In this C2 English-English Mediation Activity, students are asked to spot and use the bits of information that would support their stance and help them make their point about why workplace occupancy systems would make a difference in their company. It is a C2 level intralinguistic (English-English) mediation task.
In the pre-mediation section, students work on nominalization and verbalization.
As part of their strategy training, students learn how to streamline a text by highlighting essential information, and they also hone their rephrasing skills.
Students A and B have different sources of information, so they can both act as mediators in different rounds.
